The name Zylla Acupuncture represents how I became an intuitive healer and practitioner as a child. Zylla was my mom’s maiden name and the her struggle with cancer is what led me on my path of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I am a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in the states of Arizona and Massachusetts. I received my training in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Arizona School of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in Tucson, AZ.
I hold a B.A in Holistic Health from Prescott College as well as certification in Shiatsu, Tuina, Massage, and craniosacral therapy. I’ve held a private practice in Tucson for the last 20 years. For the past 15 years I have have maintained a successful practice in acupuncture and Tuina both in Boston and in Tucson treating a wide range of conditions. I am part of the Supportive Care for Healing team at Banner Health Cancer Center providing acupuncture for patients interested in a holistic approach to their treatment plan. Because of my background in Western Sciences and Eastern philosophy, my approach to acupuncture concentrates on the benefits of combining both methodologies. I find that my ability to obtain results is because of my education and my intuition. I am a very hands on and have many ways of approaching the different issues that people come see me for.
Illness, chronic pain, and stress are not just a result of physical imbalance, they can be due to an emotional and/or spiritual imbalance as well. Every treatment is customized and based on the individual. Cosmetic acupuncture treatments are no exception, those that choose this form of treatment will experience visually pleasing results along with all-over body benefits. Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine are a lifestyle, and a preventive medicine.
